As Aker Solutions’ global recruitment partner NES Advantage is now looking for an Instrument Engineer in Bergen.
Aker Solutions takes care of energy assets in a Life Cycle perspective. From the start to end of production, Aker Solutions ensures safe operations, optimizes field utilization, and enables field life-extensions. We do business development and execute modifications and maintenance projects. There is a global trend towards decarbonization, and we aim to help our customers to decarbonize their operations and measure their emissions to manage them more efficiently, for instance by delivering brownfield electrification of existing offshore facilities.
What will you be doing?
- Perform all required activities related to the global design phase as an Instrument Discipline Engineer.
- Be responsible for job setting and Material Take-Offs (MTOs).
- Perform all required activities related to the detail design phase as an Instrument Discipline Engineer.
- Create work packages within the Instrument discipline.
- Carry out follow-up and as-built activities within the Instrument discipline.
- Act as Deputy Discipline Lead for Instrument when required.

Requirements
- You have experience as an Instrument Discipline Engineer.
- You possess good technical knowledge of Instrument systems, including relevant standards such as NORSOK I-001.
- You have strong knowledge of pneumatic tubing design and Material Take-Offs (MTOs).
- You have experience with F&G equipment and system design.
- You hold a Bachelor's degree in Instrument Engineering or a related discipline.
- You have strong communication skills in English and Norwegian.
