Legal Counsel
Glamox is an international industrial group headquartered in Oslo and a global provider of lighting. We are on an exciting journey of growth and transformation, investing in the future of our business and strengthening the capabilities that support our operations across markets.
We are now looking for a Legal Counsel to join our Group Legal team. The team currently consists of 3 lawyers supporting business operations across multiple jurisdictions and working closely with senior management and key stakeholders throughout the Group.
This position is based in Oslo and reports to the Head of Legal. While you will be the only lawyer located in the Oslo office, you will be part of an international legal team and work closely with Legal colleagues based in Poland, as well as stakeholders across various business functions throughout the Group.
The role offers a high degree of autonomy and responsibility and is particularly well suited to a proactive and business-oriented legal professional who enjoys taking ownership of matters, working independently, and building strong relationships with internal stakeholders.
Approximately 70% of your work will be conducted in English.
What you'll do
- Draft, review and negotiate commercial agreements, including sales and procurement contracts, in both English and Norwegian.
- Support and coordinate the Group's compliance with data protection regulations, including advising internal stakeholders and handling day-to-day privacy matters.
- Support the Group's broader compliance activities, including implementation of policies, internal procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain corporate documentation, including internal policies and procedures at both local and Group level.
- Support the implementation of internal regulations and governance frameworks across the Glamox Group.
- Act as a trusted legal business partner for management and internal stakeholders across the Group.

Requirements
- You must hold a master’s degree in law (Cand.jur. / Master i rettsvitenskap).
- You should have approximately 5-7 years of relevant legal experience from a law firm or an in-house role.
- You must be fluent in both Norwegian and English, with strong legal drafting and negotiation skills.
- You must have the ability to work independently and take ownership of legal matters in an international environment.
- You should possess strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex legal issues clearly.
- You must demonstrate sound judgement, high ethical standards, and a business-oriented approach.
