We are looking for an HSE/Risk Engineer to support the Risk and Compliance Manager with the day-to-day coordination and delivery of regional risk, compliance, health, safety, and environmental management activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and maintenance of HSE policies, procedures, strategies, and programs.
- Support the development of interface/bridging documents, emergency response plans, and risk management studies.
- Prepare, review, and maintain HSE Cases for assigned rigs, ensuring risk assessments and control measures are current.
- Act as a focal point for HSE activities during rig start-up, ramp-down, rig moves, and new country entries.
- Participate in incident investigation teams, providing expertise in root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Plan, conduct, and document audits of HSE management systems on client rigs and shore-based locations.
- Coordinate the management of occupational illness and workplace injury cases in accordance with Norwegian requirements.
- Liaise with HR, medical providers, and authorities to ensure appropriate care and return-to-work arrangements.
- Assist in gathering HSE information for new tenders and client business reviews.

Krav
- You must have at least five years of relevant experience in the energy industry.
- You possess detailed knowledge of coastal state regulatory requirements affecting operations.
- You have expert knowledge of Norwegian and international regulatory requirements, including NMA, MODU Codes, ISM, ISPS, SOLAS, and MARPOL.
- You have proven experience in conducting chemical audits and performing root-cause analysis using the 5 Why method.
- You must be willing and able to travel for domestic and offshore assignments.
