About the position
Vår Energi is looking for an experienced Commissioning Engineer/Lead (Subsea/Topside) and Completion Engineer to strengthen our project organisation and support the successful delivery of development and modification projects.
In these roles, you will be part of an experienced project team, working closely with contractors, engineering, construction and operations teams across all project phases. You will play a key role in ensuring a safe, efficient and predictable transition from project execution to operations, contributing to successful project delivery through early engagement, strong collaboration and effective interface management.

Background and experience
For the Commissioning Engineer/Lead position
- Bachelor's or Master's degree, preferably within Process Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- 10+ years of relevant experience from oil and gas projects.
- Extensive experience from commissioning and operations within an operator environment.
- Topside and subsea experience from all project phases is preferred.
- Strong process understanding and ability to see system integration across disciplines.
For the Completion Engineer position
- Bachelor's degree within Process Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience within mechanical completion, commissioning, construction or project execution in the oil & gas industry.
- Extensive knowledge of Completion Management Systems and completion/handover processes.
- Experience establishing, maintaining and managing completion and handover processes throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ability to ensure a structured, traceable and efficient completion and handover process.
Krav
- You must hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Process Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- You must have at least 5-10 years of relevant experience within the oil and gas industry depending on the specific role.
- You must possess extensive knowledge of commissioning, mechanical completion, and handover processes.
- You must demonstrate strong process understanding and the ability to manage system integration across disciplines.
- You must be able to work effectively in a project team and collaborate with contractors and operations teams.
